 | David Janssen - Lead PastorDave and Jeannine Janssen moved to State College from Malaysia to pastor the State College Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in 1990. Both Dave and Jeannine attended Penn State University and during their time as students, they sensed God's call to serve in pastoral ministry. For the couple, God's call has been an adventure! As Senior Pastor, Dave has a passion for teaching the Word and helping individuals apply its powerful guidance in their lives. He cares about helping people discover their spiritual gifts and developing leaders. Jeannine invests in the prayer support of the church and has a passion to encourage believers to walk in a living and growing relationship with God.  | Neil Breneman - Executive PastorNeil oversees the day to day operations and ministries of the church. He has a passion to equip leaders in the church to carry out life changing ministry to those attending the church and the community. His desire is to see that the mission and vision that is established by the Elders and Lead Pastor, Dave Janssen is carried out through the ministries that exist. He is excited to be a part of a great team of Pastors, Support Staff, and Lay Leaders. Neil spent 8 years at First Alliance Church, Harrisburg PA as the Assistant Pastor with a major emphasis working with Student and Youth Ministry before coming to SCAC. He is totally in love with his bride, Catie and two boys, Luke (4/05) and Logan (9/08).  | Aaron Henning - Pastor of ACF College MinistriesAaron and Amy Henning pastor the campus church Alliance Christian Fellowship at Penn State University. As leaders of the ministry, the couple serves as missionaries to the campus and seeks to fulfill their desire to develop leaders who will impact the world for Christ. As pastor of the ministry, Aaron has a passion to see students' lives transformed by the power of the Gospel as they grow in their relationship with God. As Director of Women's Ministries at ACF, Amy strives to encourage young women towards strength and maturity in Christ.  | Paul Allen - Pastor of AYF Student MinistriesPaul is passionate about student ministry. He is absolutely crazy about his beautiful wife Rebecca and his son Peyton. Together they desire to help nurture disciples of Jesus for this generation and the next. Paul loves all Ohio sports and enjoys a good movie while Rebecca can be found singing her heart out!  | Makhonyola Khoza - Pastor of Worship MinistriesMakhonyola's passion is to help people experience and respond to the manifest presence of God. He was born in Malawi, raised in Trinidad and is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory and Phoenix Seminary. Makhonyola is husband to Marie, whom he aspires to love extravagantly and Daddy to Ethan and Cameron who are quick to forgive and are constant reminders of God's grace and kindness. Makhonyola is a passionate New England Sports fan and among other things enjoys playing with the boys, a good book and Jane Austen movies.  | Eric Byers - Family Life Pastor Eric grew up attending the State College Christian and Missionary Alliance Church until moving to Washington state to minister full-time with the C&MA. Eric is passionate about facilitating a place for people to experience Jesus and become like Him. He believes the main vehicle God uses to make disciples is the family and loves spending time with his wife Erica, son Keagan, and daughters Corin and Meara. Family has been a huge blessing in Eric’s life and it is his prayer that his journey will be a catalyst to assist other families in their privileged journey of making and becoming disciples. Eric received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and then completed his Masters of Divinity at Alliance Theological Seminary. If he’s not with his family or at the church, you can probably find him at Penn State sporting events as he also works as the Assistant Manager of Concessions for Intercollegiate Athletics.  | Ron Webb - Executive Director of Church MinistriesRon assists in the administrative facilitation of leadership and staff ministries by providing programming and planning guidance. Ron and Liz Webb prioritize possessing a passion to glorify Christ and spread the Gospel. They strive to be compassionate individuals who enjoy interacting with people through teaching and encouragement. His second role, as Director of Senior and Visitation Ministries, allows Ron to focus on ministry for and through senior adults as well as developing mature disciples in Christ through fellowship and discipleship. Liz and Ron are Pennsylvania natives, have two children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. They enjoy traveling throughout North America and spending time outdoors. | Maile Peachey- Administrative AssistantMaile provides administrative support to Lead Pastor David Janssen several hours per week. She was an elementary teacher for 12 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to two miracle babies, Liberty and Kamille. At the church, Maile and her husband Duane enjoy working with the youth group and participating in prayer ministry. She also enjoys running, reading, and fishing.
