| How To Put Your Spiritual Gifts In Circulation
I was once asked to name what aspect of ministry provided my greatest personal joy. The question caused me to look carefully at all I do in a given week. I answered the question, realizing that my greatest joy in ministry surfaces when I help others become successful in their own ministries. I love to witness people discovering their spiritual gifts, and I experience joy when observing individuals flourish in their service to Jesus. It is thrilling and humbling to comprehend that the very God of the Universe proposes a dynamic plan that involves an opportunity for me to help others. We believe that the experience of ministry is so rewarding that we prioritize the development of spiritual gifts and personal ministry in our Core Values. We are not looking for people to occupy seats; we care more about developing individuals who will impact their world. We are committed to this call; all at the end of the day, we are blessed to know that this process is significant to God. The first step in this process is to get involved in people's lives. I am sure you can already see that there are many exciting places to connect within the body of Christ. And, there is a unique place for you. God's Word reminds us, "as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." When you invest in this process, you will begin growing in your relationship with the Lord and with others. You will make valuable friendships that will help you during challenging times within the journey of your faith in Jesus. A Spiritual Gifts Survey is available at the front desk of the church office. This tool will ask meaningful questions about how God has used you in the past. Back |
