Register: 8:30 -9:45 am at McDonald's next to Nittany Mall

10:00 am - ride to State College C&MA Church for time of worship and fellowship

Approx. 11:30 am - depart for beautiful country ride approx.

1:30 pm - arrive back at C&MA where a free meal will be provided

HISTORY/ BACKGROUND ON THE RIDE FOR CHRIST

Great Commission: Matthew 28: 19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Mission Statement: Our mission is to expose bikers of all backgrounds to the truth of Jesus Christ and His promise of eternal life to those who believe and accept Him as Lord and Savior through worship and fellowship with believers.

History/ Background:

- Ride started by Jody Caprio after the death of a friend in a motorcycle accident in 2001. First Ride for Christ was in June of 2002.

- God placed a passion in Jody's heart for lost bikers.

- Wanted to provide bikers with the opportunity to experience Jesus Christ through the love and compassion of believers, and ultimately, through a personal experience with God himself.

- “No strings attached” approach. There was and will never be a cost (fee) to attend…just come as you are to worship and experience God.

- Year 1- 18 bikes, year 2- 22 bikes, year 3- 38 bikes, year 4- 86 bikes, year 5 – 110 bikes, and last year (year 6) - 186 bikes.

A lot of growth through basically word of mouth and simple forms of advertisement. God is doing His work through us and continues to make the ride grow. Every year, someone or a couple (family) has come to Christ because of the ride. Each ONE is worth the effort!!!
