"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Acts 2:42 What are Community Groups? Community Groups exist for the purpose of Discipleship. A Disciple of Jesus can be defined by being obedient to: The Great Commandment Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind. 'This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." -Matt. 22:37-40 The Great Commission The Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
